Question About Life Insurance And Insurance In General? Help?

I'm trying to help a friend get a hold of an inheritance that an attorney is wanting to take a 33% chunk of to help her claim. one of those unclaimed money deals. i did a search on my friends name and found an insurance company that might have her listed but i don't know if its a lead. the insurance company is

CONTINENTAL CASUALTY COMPANY

i looked up this insurance company to see if they offer such an insurance policy for life. can anybody help if they are familiar with this company? any help would be sooo greatly appreciated. GREATLY appreciated. it wouldn't be very fair for a big lawyer to walk away with her money just because he knows something she didn't..

Answer: OK, any unclaimed money deal that is asking you to PAY UP FRONT, is a scam. Insurance companies do NOT list life insurance policies anywhere - they are private transactions. They don't know when someone dies, until/unless a claim is filed. There is no public record you can search at. Those "unclaimed fund" websites do NOT include insurance policies.

Dollars to donuts, someone is trying to scam you for a "search fee". Key word? "an insurance company MIGHT have her listed."

Here's a REAL website, where the EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE ONLY can send in $75, and ask if she's applied for any policies in the past ten years. It only works for

Is This A Fair Settlement For Pain And Suffering?

I'll start off by providing the details of the accident:

It was a nice morning, everything was going smoothly, my life had a little "hiccup" in it which caused some problems on my end, so the family and I were getting ready to head to court. Well, on the way there, another car crossed the center line and completely took the side off of my car (1998 Lincoln Continental) while I was in the ditch trying to avoid the collision.

I had to go to the hospital because of the severity of the wreck, and it bruised my lower spine come to find out. My mother (front passenger seat) was badly bruised around her arms and legs, and my father (rear passenger side) has

Answer: First of all, you never settle with an insurance company. You wait and take it to court. However, you should have gone to see a lawyer RIGHT AWAY because whenever you get into a car accident with injury and you need to be compensated, you must have a lawyer to give you the correct advice. Go get a lawyer now. Most offer free consultations, and don't requre any payment in auto injury cases until the case is settled, (which can take years in some cases) whereby they take a cut of the final money received. Insurance companies are out to make money not pay out money, and of course they are trying to scam you. They all do that and get away with it. Don't you know insurance companies run this

I Just Got Completely Totaled In A Car Accident. Any Help On What Is Most Likely To Happen Or My Options?

So here goes, pretty long story =/. I was on my way to court. I was driving my 1998 Lincoln Continental with my mother in the front seat and my dad in the back passenger-side.

I noticed there was another car, a 1997 Buick, heading towards me, completely in the middle of the road. I laid on the horn obviously, and started to veer off of the road. The car didn't stop, and shown no intention to do so. I was almost completely in the ditch when she hit me. And when she hit, it hit hard. She was doing upwards of 55 MPH, where I was doing around 35 MPH because I was braking trying to avoid the accident. We're both driving boats, I understand this. Two huge cars colliding isn't

Answer: The fastest way to get this handled will be to let State Farm settle, pay for your car (it's GONE by the way) and you go car shopping by friday. Nationwide is a decent company but if this drug-head is disputing the facts it could take days and days of investigation to finally settle the claim. Also, if you go through your own insurer they will handle the doper for you and you will never have to speak with her ever again.
Your call.....

Answer: As with every therapy, it works for some people and not for others. It is VERY popular with insurance companies these days and is therefor readily covered. Lots of clinicians are offering it for the same reason. Give it a try if you wish. It isn't your last hope, it is your next hope.
