What Is The Average Cost For Business Insurance? Specifically Liability And Workers Compensation.?

I am working with a skincare product company that needs to purchase insurance to cover various things such as allergic reactions, etc...Is that liability? What are the average costs? Also need recommendations for health insurance for workers.

Answer: Workmens Comp will cost you apx 1% of each worker's salary monthly. Not too expensive but it eats up your profit. Business insurance will be tied into the type of operation you run. Heavy trucks and lifting motors? $250 per worker per month? Sitting in an office? $50 per worker per month.
You didn't mention health insurance but you can guess that will be at least $250 per month per person without covering their family.
I hope that you are really going to open a business. i did. I wish i'd done it sooner. It's been fun.

What Is The Average Home Business Liabilitly Insurance Monthly Premium?

This would be an internet based business run out of my home, with $2000 in sales a month.
More specifically, this would be for a home based internet business that does $2000 a month in sales, in Illinois and makes no original products, but resells them. I have heard that companies who manufacturer the products hold the liability, not the reseller, is that true? Does it reduce my liability that I do not make the product I am selling?

Answer: It is absolutely not true that the manufacturer holds all the liability. If you sell the product that caused an injury, you are going to be just as liable as the manufacturer for the injury.

Lawyers are going to try to find as many deep pockets as possible, so they will do after you and whatever you have and your insurers.

So be sure to buy plenty of liability coverage.

What Is An Average Monthly Payment For Business Liability Insurance For A Construction Company LLC?

What is an average monthly payment for Business Liability Insurance for a construction company LLC?

Answer: This would be based on your payroll, number of stories, residential or commercial construction, number of employees, etc. There are many more variables, so really hard to give you an idea of a premium without more information.

Contact a local independent insurance agent in your area. An independent agent will have access to several markets and can work with you to provide the best coverage for the best premium. Good Luck!

What Are Average Prices For Small Business Insurance?

This is for my high school project. Please answer!

Answer: That's too broad of a question to answer accurately.

In California there are anywhere between 3 and 13 different rate areas, depending on which carrier you're working with, needs and prices can vary by the industry as the insurance carrier takes on more and more risk, level of coverage can range from comprehensive to catastrophic only, from Cal Choice (very expensive) to Kaiser (very inexpensive) and from small group (generally more expensive per person) to multi-national corporations (generally very inexpensive per person).

And that is just California, by the way. I don't know much about the other states underwriting procedures, so if you live somewhere else, you'll
