What Is The Deal With All The Trolls And The Insurance Questions?
Question by ☮Jen D☮ | Posted in Alternative Medicine
Martha, Daisy, Natalie, Brit, Vivian, Anamika, Melissa, Reena, Zach, Jolie, Isaaru - All Level ! accounts created today or yesterday. All have Private Q&A, exactly 71 points, and all asking questions about obtaining insurance.
Is this a big wind-up for an ad campaign or marketing scheme?
Curious.... (Especially since the questions would be more appropriate in either "Insurance" "Health" or "Medicine.")
Answer: I would expect so. I'm surprised they haven't gotten around to having one member answer all of them to get the spam out, then choose their own answer as the best and jack that user's points way up.
I noticed the same thing and reported all 12 of the ones I saw so the Y!A team at least knows about it... totally against several of their policies for spam. LOL!
I'm assuming whoever made all those accounts probably posted a question from each of them in each of those sections. Insurance, Health-General, Medicine, Alternative Medicine, Diet & Fitness... Hmm... one more section to make up the 30 points that each of them were missing. Well, hey, the best thing to do with bots
Why Is It That Some People Will Answer Questions About Insurance, Without Knowing What They Are Talking About?
Question by james m | Posted in Insurance
I have been answering questions on YA for about a month. I am retired from the insurance business after 30 years. There are a lot of people who try to answer questions about insurance, and they don't have a clue as to what they are talking about, in a lot of cases. I don't want to offend anyone, but I think a person should have some working knowledge about a subject before answering questions about it. I know this is only a game, but why give out false information?
Answer: It is because people have no sense of responsibility. Yes, it is just a game, but I use Yahoo! Answeres for a reference when making certain decisions and it has worked out well for me. Since the internet is so inpersonal, people have no quarrels giving out their opinions, because they don't have to deal with cleaning up the mess if someone actually listens to them. James, you have a good point. People should not take Yahoo! Answers as their only reference. Yes this site is good for information, you just have to make sure the person anwering your questions is qualified. Even then, do a little research yourself!

I'm thinking about buying a camaro a neighbor is selling for 400 bucks. Just to start out on. I plan on fixing it up a bit before i put it on the road. But i was wondering, if i buy it, for example if i buy it tomorrow, will i have to get insurance right away? Or do i not have to worry about that until i get tags for it and start driving it on the road??
Answer: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - autoinsurance.hotusa.org
