There are a couple of companies that will write a diabetic in Arizona if controlled by diet and one which will even accept you if you are on any medication besides insulin. However, you said you have a lot of health issues so although they'll write a diabetic any other issues will possibly cause a decline.
I'm in AZ so if you email me I might be able to help further.
Does Anyone Know A Health Insurance Company That Is Affordable And Covers Diabetics?
Question by rico76sgirl | Posted in Diabetes
My mom is almost 50 yrs old, has been diabetic for 22 years, and is now having chest pains. She won't see a doctor until she gets insurance because she is afraid the medical bills will pile up and she'll lose her house. She doesn't qualify for medicaid/medicare because her boyfriend owns a company, but he also doesn't have enough employees to offer insurance. His company does not have enough of a profit margin to afford health care, but too much to qualify for any kind of assistance. She is on the verge of having a heart attack and if she does, her body can't handle it. She will die. Does anyone know someone in a similar situation who found a company to insure them at a reasonable price? Please

However, if you get approved for it, the only bad thing is some doctors don't like to deal with us lower income folks.
But, there are some doctors who aren't in the practice for money. They do it out of sheer kindness and will accept all insurances.
For example i went to a Comfort Dental today to get a root canal. They do free dental work for the needy.
I guarantee you, if you do your reasearch

As a medical doctor I find it hard to believe that a non-medical person can help a diabetic. I’m not much for “self-help” books, but I read his book. I didn’t really believe in the God thing but when I was really down a few years ago, I accidentally. But, this man makes talking about diabetes kinda fun, especially now that I’m healthier.
