What Are The Different Railroad Job Insurance Protection Companies Out There?

I was curious how many job insurance companies are out there for Railroad Employees. The coverage Im referring to in the insurance you pay for and collect when you get into trouble at work. I know of UTU, LECMPA, BRCF and CPA but are there any others?

I reccommend this above the others. With the others, a committee evaluates the claim and decides if it is in fact payable. This, more like the old BLE insurance, is a true insurance.

Of course none of them will cover a speed volation or a violation of rule "G".

Is It Too Soon To Have My Doctor Fill Out The Forms For My Job/insurance Company?

I'll be seeing my doctor tomorrow when I will be 24wks3dys.

I want to hurry up & get all of my paperwork in to the Human Resources dept of my job, so that there isn't an issue once my Maternity Leave hits. Don't want to have to worry about that as well..

Answer: I'd say it is definitely not too soon. You want to make sure everything is in place in the event you need to go on leave before you give birth. Many women are put on bed rest or have complications leading up to birth which require they not work for several weeks before giving birth. This way you and your employers will know what is going on and what to expect. It's also one less thing to worry about when you have so much on your plate! Good luck!

I Have Some Old Medical Bills That Have Not Been Paid Can I Use My Current Job Insurance To Pay For Them?

Just wanting to know if i can get these lowered so i can pay them. My insurance kicked in like 4 months ago just wondering.

Answer: If the bills are for services from before the date that the insurance began, no. If they are more recent, then yes.

Medical insurance goes by date of service. If the service is provided on a date when you have insurance, you are covered, even if you later lose the insurance. If the service is provide on a date when you do not have insurance, then you are not covered, even if you later get insurance.

The ONLY exception is COBRA, which is retroactive to the date of the qualifying event.

I Have An Open Insurance Claim At My Job, What To Expect From Adjuster?

My daughter found a hypodermic needle in a room we were staying in at my workplace. My daughter was poked with this needle and it has caused nothing but heartache not knowing if she has anything.

I have opened a claim with my jobs insurance and I wanted to know what to expect from the adjuster and how much should we negoitate for.

Answer: A claim for what? Heartache isn't covered by insurance. If it was, we'd all be millionaires.

just depressed and panicing over recent stress and need a councelor or psychologist to chat with for a little while.

Answer: Call the Mental Heath Association they have therapy at little or no cost, also the United Way helps with the cost.

you can also call a crisis hot line and talk to someone there.

Look for online anxiety chat rooms, it helps to talk to people that are feeling the same way.
