For Australia, if I cancel a home & contents insurance policy halfway through the year then will I get a refund for the rest of the year that I have paid for but was not covered for?

surely I'm not the only one with a unit, so far only GIO have been able to provide this. Others like Allianz don't have Strata Insurance, how can I shop around for this ??

What is the best insurance company for multiple polices?
We have 2 houses which are being rented out, so we need landlord insurance for those 2 as well. The house and contents for the home we live in, and two cars. We are currently with NRMA.
This is in New South Wales, Australia.

Answer: Probably worth seeing a broker with that little lot, they may be able to get you a better deal ...and that way they do all the running round, not you.

Can I Get Home And Contents Insurance With A Criminal Conviction?

my partner and I have Just purchased our first home is any insurance company in australia going to give us home and contents insurance when we both have criminal convictions.

Answer: As long as the convictions weren't for or are related to insurance fraud then you shouldn't have a problem.

Why Isn't It Possible To Get 'bicycle Only' Insurancein Australia?

The closest I can find is home contents. In many other countries it's possible to get bicycle only insurance. Bike locks sold overseas often come with insurance, but the same lock, when sold in Australia, comes without insurance. Is there some law against it?
