Car Insurance And Roadside Assistance In France?

MY daughter is about to spend 8 months in France (we live in UK). How can she get affordable car insurance and roadside assistance cover for the whole period? All UK insurers seem to restrict cover to trips of up to 31 days, with an overall max of 90 days cover in one year.

Who Has The Best Deal On Basic Roadside Assistance Insurance ?

I drive an older car and my prior insurance included free roadside assistance. Which i never used in 3 years.

I switched and my new company doesn't offer it with just liability which is all I have.

I know about AAA of course but I was looking for something cheaper or a better deal if you will.

I know that State Farm, who I didn't insure with, told me it would be $2.70 per month additional.which comes out to $32.40 per year. Do they offer it if you don't buy your insurance through them ?

Does anyone else have something closer to $30 than $60-80 ??

Answer: I think Samsclub offers it for just under $60.

Found one place at $48 but that seemed to be pretty skimpy coverage.

Should I Get AAA Roadside Assistance Or Insurance Roadside Assistance?

I drive an 07 Scion and was wondering if I should get AAA Plus or Insurance Roadside assistance. I currently pay $6 a year for Roadside assistance but I have to pay first and then get reimbursed and it only covers $50 each disablement. I was thinking if I should get AAA Plus which covers up to 100 miles for $76 because I know it costs quite a bit just for a hook up fee.
I am in Los Angeles County BTW where anything can happen

Answer: AAA definitely. Good towing mileage, and other benefits. One I recently used was lock replacement. My trunk lock was damaged by a thief, and AAA covered the first $100 of a locksmith to replace it. (And the locksmith's fee was $120, so quite a deal.)

Plus you get discounts with AAA at car rentals, florists, some clothing stores and other surprising places.

Is Allstate Roadside Assistance Insurance The Same As The Allstate Motor Club?

Similar or not at all ?

That is, the one that is added on to insurance. I know the price is less. $5.80 every 6 months versus $48-52 per year.

PS seems like the rep said I got up to 50 miles towing which is more than their $48 a year plan which just covers you up to $50.
Yeah, no way was I going to pay extra for the other stuff, Just didnt know if it was included.

Best I can tell is I get better coverage for less but with no trip planning !

Answer: One is strictly for roadside assistance/towing after a breakdown (the $5.80/6 months) the other has some other services. trip route, etc. (take the $5.80/6 month option)
