About How Much Is It A Month For Medical Insurance For 1 Healthy Child In Massachusetts?

Basic insurance coverage...? Thanks for any thought. I can't find any instant quote websites for Massachusetts and everyone is closed until Monday.
We are planning on paying for it ourselves. We live in California and our insurance out here does not cover my step daughter who lives in Mass. Her mother does make more than the income guidelines for the state, although we might fall under. We are just going to bite the bullet and pay out of pocket. Her mother said she found insurance fr her for $90 a week, and we have a feeling that its a little high... Thanks for your help tho.

Answer: $90 a week is INCREDIBLY high. It should be less than half that.

Massachusetts Health Insurance?

I am in fifties and currently living in California. Due to the California high cost of medical insurance, My wife and I are thinking of moving to Massachusetts state, get a small home there and retire there eventually. The reason that we are thinking about is that we overheard Massachusetts have a much lower health insurance cost ($50/month ?). Please advise us if you are currently living in Massachusetts state or other states that have less expensive health care insurance and housing cost. You advise is greatly appreciated. Jo

Answer: You can actually just as easy pick up the phone and contact CIGNA or some other health insurance company about their rates. They usually do free quotes.

How Do You Go About Getting Medical Treatment?

I am Lay ed off from work, and do not have enough money for any kind of Medical insurance, I am in need of basic medical care and need to know if it can be taken care of before it may develope into to a emergency situation causing more of a money issue because of lack of current symptoms. I am not sure what to do and how to go about this. I am living in the State of California but am originaly from the East Coast, Massachusetts where ther medical is for free when you are unemployed.

Answer: All states offer that same, free medical care if you're unemployed under the federal "Medicaid" umbrella program. In California, it's called Medi-Cal, but it's still the same thing. You need to locate your nearest department of social services and go in and apply. Here in California we also have a second, more temporary, free medical program called "CMSP" which is county-based free medical care.

Tom Brady's Accident and Massachusetts No-Fault Law | Sugarman Blog

For medical expenses, the first $2,000 of expenses would be paid by his automobile insurer with his health insurer picking up expenses beyond this amount. The automobile insurer would have to reimburse him for his co-pays and unreimbursed medical expenses (up to the $8,000 limit) after paying the first $2,000 in expenses. Assuming that Massachusetts insurance applied, Brady would be entitled to collect benefits for his medical expenses and loss of wages up to a limit of $8,000. News reports indicate that his Audi was registered in New Jersey raising an interesting question of whether New Jersey or Massachusetts no-fault insurance would apply. In that case, if Brady went outside the network for care, neither his health insurance nor the automobile no-fault would pay for the care....
