1 Month Car Insurance?

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if there is a 1 month UK car insurance company for under 21s.

I don't want to open up a new policy as I only need cover for a month. A pay as you go if you like.

All answers are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I meant I don't want to open a long term policy. Collingwood to temporary insurance for learners, I want something like that but for passed drivers.

Answer: I had a policy just for a month, and it cost about£30.00, but I do have full no claims bonus, so do expect it to be more,and that's if you can get it at 21.

or on a month to month contract? i know most places give u insurance but from 3 month or more.

~ I've shown California's on the second source... The first source... I'm not sure of...

Can I Get Car Insurance For 1 Month To Drive A Rental Car In New Mexico?

Answer: Really? That would not be ideal....with most carriers you would have to put up a down payment and...::shrug:: is it worth it for just a month?

Most insurance companies offer coverage for the vehicles they rent.....but read the fine print.....they may not cover everything.

Can You Tax A Car With Less Than 1 Month Insurance?

Can you tax a car with less than a months insurance remaining, reason i ask is that i taxed and insured my car on my insurance renewal, which was the day i bought it last year.

slightly concerned the post office are going to complain about it, so thought id check on here first

i assume so long as it is insured there wouldnt be a problem, but im a worrier i think....

my insurance runs out on the 29th september

i assume the new tax disc comes into force 1st october.

however i dont know if im going to have a cover note at that time.....

Answer: Ah, with your additional details, you have NO insurance for any period of October, the month in which your tax comes into force, so no, you can't tax it as you need the cover to be valid for at least one day of the month in which it covers - NOT the month in which it's issued.
If you have a V11 reminder, you can tax online.

Temporary Car Insurance For 21 And Over But License Only 1 Month Old?

I'm finding it difficult to get insurance for a 21 year old with 1 month driving license.

Answer: Not surprising really. First, there really is no "temporary" insurance, so look for a year to year contract. Then realize 25 is the magic age where risk drops, based on both age and driving experience. They assume at that age there is 6 to 8 years of driving experience, and at being only licensed for a month, the risk is high.

Find an independent agent, someone local, who can search their data base to get you started and will keep looking to get you better rates as you gain experience and don't have tickets or accidents.
