What Is The Best Place To Get Travel Insurance?

I saw a few like insuremytrip and global nomads as well as a few others, and was wondering which one is the best?

Answer: It's not so much the source (assuming it's an honest and reputable firm), it's the POLICY.

Not all travel insurance covers the same things and even policies that SEEM to be identical have differences once you read the fine print.

And ALWAYS read the fine print. If you don't understand anything, ask.

That might be a good reason to use a travel agent. It won't cost you anything extra (in fact you might be able to bargain for a rebate since travel agents earn EXCELLENT commissions selling travel insurance). But a knowledgable travel agent will be able to answer your questions and point you to the right policy for your needs.

Where Can I Buy Travel Insurance (i'm British), But I've Already Started My Trip?

Normally, travel insurance companies don't cover you if you've already left the country (i know, weird... but that's what it says in the small print). I've heard that 'world nomads' will cover, but they charge extortionate prices! It may be worth it though... Please help!
Thanks all :)

Answer: I am an agent representing travel insurance, but I will try to make this as non-commercial as possible while giving you relevant information. Atlas Travel Insurance plans will cover you even after you have left your home country. Their main office is in Indianapolis, IN, but they also have an office in London. You can do everything directly online including get your cards and benefit package sent through email. They cover lost luggage, emergency evacuations, and other things in addition to the medical coverage that most international travelers need.

It won't cover pre-existing conditions, but you can put the coverage into effect as early as midnight of the day you complete

American Family Insurance Claim?

We lost our 1997 Nomad travel trailer, M2610, bunkhouse, in EXCELLENT condition, due to flooding of the Kishwaukee River in Illinois in Dec.
Our insurance company, American Family, says they only pay the NADA value, but I can't replace it with a similar one for that, can anyone advise, do I have to settle for what they are offering?
We LOVED our camper, and camped EVERY weekend, it just doesn't seem fair. They are offering $5705.94 minus our 250.00 deductible.
Does this seem reasonable? Please tell me my options.
The price they are offering also includes the sales tax & licensing of $310.31, so...actually they are only offing us $5145.63.
RE: UWISH, no,

Answer: Unless you had a policy with a full replacement rider, you are out of luck. They are only obligated to pay you the actual value of the trailer. How much you paid for it, how much it would cost to replace it, or how much you think it's worth doesn't matter.

I Have A Dilemma: Cubicle Work Or Travel For A Lifestyle?

I am 33, married, working in a dead-end job, I have left to go travel for 6 months twice in the last 3 years and I am tempted to do it again. My wife's dream is to live on the beach and dive. I wouldn't mind trying it as I like diving, but am worried about future (money, health insurance). Got an offer that would allow me to live/work on a beach resort in South East Asia for pretty much no money (no salary, no expense). I have been there last year for 3 weeks and made contacts now they are asking me if I'd go there for the season (MArch-October). I have just gotten my job which isn't great but pays decent with good benefits. I have no house, no car, no kids, but am getting a bit tired of packing

Answer: How about living and hopping around the best beaches all over the world at cheap prices, no need to go to work because passive income is just hitting your bank account monthly. Sounds crazy? Well time spent with family is what most of us aim for, not just little time but ample time. I don't like the idea of a system that forces me to put certain things before my family, simply put, serving a job is an example of that system. I have been travelling and living, and its the ultimate inner satisfying feeling. Check out the free videos on http://thabitravel.worldventures.biz for more info. Best of luck.
