Military Question. Can The Girlfriend Of An Active Duty Sgt. Be Eligible For Tricare Medical Insurance?
Question by productofsociety | Posted in Military
Also her children if she is divorced? Or do they have to be married? Are there any known "special conditions" that would allow such a thing?
Answer: No. She only becomes eleigible for TriCare when they are married. The children cannot receive ID cards and entry into Tri Care until that marriage as well. And they will have to be adopted by the military father. There's no "special condition" to cover shacking up.

ANY help would be appreciated!
Answer: OK in this order:
1. Get the ID card.
2. Go to a Military Treatment Facility with your ID card and talk to the Tricare Service Center for your region. You can attempt to work the http://www.tricare.mil/ website but good luck. So email me if you need help @ geoffrey.lander@navy.mil I understand you do not know the system as such you need to talk to someone on the inside not Yahoo Answers. Let me know what state you are in and I will figure out what service center is near you and try to get some help for you!
3. You need to get a General Power of Atty at some point to give you the power you need with the military.
Will Medical Insurance Cover Wisdom Teeth Surgery?
Question by hisarmywife | Posted in Dental
I don't have dental insurance but I have Tricare medical coverage and I'm wondering if the surgery is considered medical or dental.
Answer: For a friend, it depended on the state of the wisdom teeth (i.e., if they were impacted, boney, etc.). Unfortunately, I'm not sure he knew how much he was supposed to pay until after the surgery.
The best thing to do is call your medical insurer and ask. Also, be sure to ask which oral surgeons are covered by your plan.
Is It Illegal In The State Of California To Have 2 Medical Insurance Coverages?
Question by ncluvr422 | Posted in Other - General Health Care
I just started getting medical benefits from my job. My husband is in the Army and we are now eligible for tricare, but my medical insurance coverage doesn't end until January of next year. He wants us to enroll ASAP, and it is easier for us to enroll together. My job is saying that it is too late to cancel my coverage. Can I have both? I don't mind paying for both, I just want to make sure I'm not doing something illegal!
Answer: health-quotes.talk4fun.net - here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.
