Is Hansen's Disease Covered By Health/life Insurance?
Question by Braveheart | Posted in Infectious Diseases
A friend of mine in considering taking a mission trip to Nepal to evangelize in a village known to have widespread leprosy. I wonder if any life/health insurance company would cover this as her trip would not be job but church related. Does anyone know or can think of a way to ask my friend insurance company without jeopardizing her current coverage?
Answer: Tell them that she will be traveling abroad. Ask if they cover any diseases she might catch while there.
Is There Anything To Help Severe Allergic Reaction To Hair Removal Cream?
Question by bellatrix27 | Posted in Allergies
I have really sensitive skin and for some reason stupidly used Sally Hansen's Hair Removal cream. I'm having a severe allergic reaction, it itches and hurts and my (white) skin is now almost purple. I've taken some Prednisone that i got last time i had a really bad reaction to poison ivy since this is so similar, but it's old and not doing any good. i also tried aloe but it's not any better. i cant go to the doctor because i dont have insurance.
Does anyone have a suggestion? Antihistamines? Even something natural like putting some kind of food on the skin??
btw this is the second day but seems worse today. i only kept it on for about 5 minutes then took a shower. boy i dont know
Answer: OK some people have suggested that you put lotions and Vaseline on your legs. Please take my advice and don't the reason why is because Vaseline and lotions are like putting a thermal blanket over your skin particularly Vaseline it does not allow your skin to breath which is what your skin needs. You more then likely have a chemical burn from the product. When people think of burns they generally think of blisters and contacting a source of heat which is not always the case. You need to take a shower to make sure that you get all of the product off of your legs and allow nature to take its course. If they don't get better in a few days or get worse I hate to say it but you might have to visit
Buying A Motorhome In Az - Driving It To Missouri?
Question by John H | Posted in Insurance & Registration
We want to buy a class c motorhome in arizona because the prices are much lower there that in Kansas City - then drive it back and license it in our home state of missouri.
We will add it to our insurance policy but how can we make the plates legal? Thanks
John Hansen
Answer: You buy it, you get temporary plates, you drive it home, you license it, you're done. All legal. Just make sure Arizona dealers aren't required to charge sales tax in addition to having to pay sales tax in Missouri. I bought an RV in Utah which doesn't tax out of state buyers but California does if you take delivery within the state plus you would owe tax in your state. That could be thousands of dollars.
I am hoping someone will have a good answer to my question. EVERYTIME I shave I get horrible bumps and they don't just look ugly they hurt too. Not to get into too many details about down there but I am kind of hairy person, so I need to shave often, not everyday but every other day. I have tried Bikini Zone, Salley Hansen stuff, and pretty much every over-the-counter product but nothing helps them out. Is there another way that is not expensive? Also, I can not go to a dermatologist because I do not have health insurance. Please help!
Answer: im not necessarily hairy but down there i do need to shave every day or it gets razor sharp and uncomfortable, the worse part is just like you, it gets super irritated the next day and makes it impossible to shave. ive tried everything. the witch hazel does help but still doesnt allow me to loose the all the bumps so sometimes i have to wait days to shave again and that doesnt really work in the summer when i want to wear my bikini ya know??!!! im going to try and go for the wax because im all out of options myself. good luck and hopefully you can let me know if you find somethign that works :) i also use powder it softens the skin and reduces the irritation...you'll also feel smoother.
Can We Start Saying These Extreme Weather Events Are Being Influenced By Global Warming Yet?
Question by littlerobbergirl | Posted in Global Warming
surely we have enough '100 year' events repeated in the last few years to start saying we can really see the influence of AGW now?

Finally, a comment on frequently asked questions of the sort: Was global warming the
cause of the 2010 heat wave in Moscow, the 2003 heat wave in Europe, the all-time record high
temperatures reached in many Asian nations in 2010, the incredible Pakistan flood in 2010? The
standard scientist answer is "you cannot blame a specific weather/climate event on global
warming." That answer, to the public, translates as "no".
However, if the question
Answer: What we can say is that global warming is "loading the dice". It's making these extreme weather events more likely to happen by adding energy to the climate system and moisture to the atmosphere.
There have been several studies on the increase in heavy precipitation events, for starters.

AKA, one of those situations where you sit at the light until traffic stops so you can safely go, because you’re pulled out to the point that you’re committed and you have to go. Well, I happened to turn directly past a cop. I’ll waste all day and do it. I told my mom about the ticket, finally, because she asked why I was getting the CA license. I got it for turning left at a light that turned red. And, I don’t have the money to pay insurance, or for the car yet. But, if I do need to get a CA license. If I need to get a CA driver’s license, that’s fine....
