I Need The Best And Cheapest Annual Travel Insurance.....?

I need the best annual travel insurance that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and does not have mega expensive excess....any ideas? It will have to be worldwide insurance.....I am 25 (soon to be 26) and am fit and healthy.

Answer: Travel insurance generally covers accidents when you are traveling, and is priced based on where you are going.

If you need it for a full year, TRAVEL insurance probably isn't the right product. You probably need to sit down with a local agent, to discuss what the GOAL is - as MOST travel insurance policies have exclusions if you're going to a politically dangerous area. They AREN'T going to be world wide.

Answer: There is no insurance for annual travel but to specific locations to which you are traveling. You can get them. RBC is a good source for this.

I urgently need a cheap insurance,
all of them quote me more than 2000 annual! just because i had UK passport for 2 years. i had 10 years european driving license, it should be cheaper! anyone any suggestions? Highlyy appreciated!

Answer: Call a few local insurance companies and ask them for quotations.

Travel Insurance ! I Am UK Based And Want Annual Cover For Europe And North America. Who's The Cheapest ?

I am UK based and want cheap travel insurance for a year. Which company has the cheapest cover ? (UK companies only please...not American !)

Answer: If you can afford to keep enough money in a Lloyds Current Account, they will turn it into a "Gold Account" which includes free travel insurance for the account holders up till the age of 80. Check out the amount which needs to be kept in the Account and if you have to pay a premium for extended cover.

Should I Buy Annual Travel Insurance Before Or After A Plane Ticket?

Hey there, I'm 17, male, and plan to buy the cheapest plane ticket to travel to California on Wednesday 13th April and leave on Saturday 23rd. The cheapest I've found is £606 on http://www.britishairways.com.

I also plan to travel there a few times within the next year, so I think annual travel insurance would be better.
So should I wait till after I buy the plane ticket to buy the travel insurance, buy it before, or doesn't it even matter?

Answer: I used to work for a travel agent and I strongly suggest sorting travel insurance out before booking online as it is vital you take it with you on your travels.

Also try and go to your local travel agent instead of booking over the internet as then if something was to go wrong you could go and talk to them in person instead of having to wait in a queue on the phone which will cost a fortune.

It also is peace at mind as you know that what is booking is right for you and they can answer any questions you might have.

People say that its cheaper on the net... think again. Agents are the same if not cheaper in some cases.
