If I’m shopping around for auto insurance (Quick Auto Quote) – is this going to lower my credit score? - as far as I know –the auto insurer is checking the credit score......
....you know what I mean !?..........
Answer: Insurance companies do not pull your credit. It will not affect your score. And when you are shopping around for a vehicle for every three inquiries from auto dealers it only counts as one because they know that people need to shop around and get the best deal. It's not like credit cards where every one you apply for counts as an inquiry.

Making a New Auto Insurance Quote versus Renewal on Same Insurance Company Costs Less?
My auto insurance will expire very soon and I noticed that I haven't received any renewal offers from my current insurance provider. So without hesitation I visited their official site and did some new quote. Virtually, I am a "new" customer if I choose to purchase this quote -- which will cost me only $380.00
Two days later, I finally received a "renewal offer" via e-mail. Take note again that this is the same insurance company, same insurance policy coverages, same policy number -- But there's a difference! To renew, it'll cost me $518.00

A representative can compare all of the factors involved and figure out why you got a different quote as a new customer. There are no "tricks" going on here. Most likely there was just some difference in the coverage details.
If your not happy with the answers you get, just shop around with other companies and see if you can find coverage for even less. I'd recommend http://Progressive.com or http://Geico.com, or just use a comparison provider such as http://www.insweb.com.
Turned 25 Yesterday And Paid For 6 Months Auto Insurance Policy?

I have a quick question i purchased auto insurance back in August 2010 for a 6 month pay off. Well i turned 25 yesterday and i checked my new quote now being that im 25 my insurance dropped about 50% for my new quote. Now one of my co-workers said that since i turned 25 and have 3 months left on my insurance that i should be getting half of what i paid back so i guess my question is this true?
Answer: No. When you have an existing policy, your rate class doesn't change during that entire policy year. You have to wait until the policy renews.
It's worth it, though, to call your agent and ask them to cancel and rewrite the policy right now, to take advantage of a 50% rate decrease.

Here's the situation. My policy renewed automatically, but my agent neglected to renew my auto-withdrawal. So my policy goes into default for lack of payment and is eventually cancelled. This happens without my knoledge as I was out of the state attending training for a new job. When I returned home, I found this out and started the process of getting my insurance renewed.

I know it's long, so if you only want to do part any help you can give is appreciated.
