Is It Necessay To Buy Travel Insurance When We Are Travelling To Europe For A Holiday?

How much duration does it takes for issuing the travel insurance..

Answer: Yes! Its a pre-requisite when applying for visas to Schengen countries. If you don't require a visa, its still advisable as medicals treatment is very expensive in europe. Not to mention cancellations, delays, loss of possessions, 3rd part liabilities, etc.,

I Am About To Take Out Travel Insurance But Need To Know If Egypt And Turkey Is Counted As Europe Or Worldwide?

I know this sounds a silly question but i suddenly thought how israel is in the european song contest. So is Egypt and Turkey counted as Europe or Worldwide for holiday insurance please?

Answer: Egypt is considred as Worldwide as we are not in Europe

Isreal is in Europe as they can't be any where else :)

Im Going On Holiday In Europe, Do You Still Need Travel Insurance If You Have A E111 Card?

Answer: yes. They are very different things
E111 just means that you can get medical treatment, travel insurance covers any accidents/hospital costs, loss of belongings, cancellations, delays, etc.
Travel insurance is very importatnt to have and pretty cheap as well!

Answer: If you're not much over 65 you shouldn't have too much problem finding travel insurance.

For older travellers and/or pre-existing medical condition try www.world-first.co.uk reputed to be good (I found through a Telegraph travel page)

Holiday Insurance Egypt?

Does Egypt come under Europe when you buy holiday insurance? Whats a good company to go with - I'm going for a week in May.

Answer: Hello there
Contrary to previous answers, it REALLY does depend on the Insurance Company. I would shop around online to be honest. When I have visited Egypt I always have Insurance, and I only pay for single Trip which can range from £13.95 upwards AND furthermore, most Insurance Companies online STATE which countries they cover, and most now, do class Egypt under the European destinations. I went there 4 times last year, and all put Egypt in as a European destination, although it is obviously part of northern Africa. Check first, why pay an unnecessary premium, when you don't have too?

in germany it replaces the health insurance card while in italy you now have the Italian health insurance card as well as the European one…the confusion couldnt be bigger…. and… if some ppl for example dont have health insurance that actually pays for stuff that happens in different european nations, then those people obviously cannot get this european card thing. it connects structures that already exist, nothing more nothing less....
