What is the most common cosmetic dental insurance that people have? I am just finding out about this and would really like to look into it further. A little guidence goes a long way. I could search forever.
Also, about how much would you say it is to ahve your teeth bleached? Different states I;m sure have different prices. I live in Florida.

Answer: I have never heard of cosmetic dental insurance. Most dental insurance plans don't cover "cosmetic" treatment.
Costs for teeth whitening depends on whether you choose an in-house treatment or an at-home treatment.
In-house treaments such as Zoom or BriteSmile can run up to about $500 sometimes more.
At-home treatments which consists of custom made trays can cost up to $300.

I'm Looking For Dental Insurance That Will Cover Cosmetic Dental Work.?

I have a lot of dental work needed, and it seems that I will need braces for a year then, "several" implants. I tried wearing partial but I could never get use to the pain it cause.
Can someone help me with dental insurance that will cover my implants?

1, 2 or even three years, some insurances might cover
implants after a long waiting period. Your best bet if you
want savings sooner would be a membership with
eHealthPlus, they will discount all your dental work, including
implants. There are no waiting periods.

Answer: i am a retired Independent Insurance Broker with 23 yrs experience & a retired CPA & CFP & LUTCF also--no insurance company will EVER cover a routine cosmetic procedure, unless it is beneficial to your health, and not done for cosmetic reasons only-a good group policy MIGHT pay for a cap for a molar tooth, if the tooth would be saved, by not doing any more fillings on it-each filling cuts away more of the tooth, and eventually, the tooth might crumble ! if a cap would be paid for, they would pay for a gold or metal cap, without a porcelin cover-the porcelin would be considered cosmetic-you could pay the difference for the porcelin cover, if you wanted to--the reason cos could not
