Travel Insurance?

i need single trip insurance which lets me take part in volunteer work abroad.
most travel insurance companys online and through the online quotes do not give in depth enough detail which shows what your covered for so i need to be covered to do volunteer work which will involve conservation manual labour involved but i dunno which ones cover me for this can anyone suggest a company to get insurance from?

Answer: The best way would be to call a reputable company (such as the AA or your bank) to get a quote and explain exactly what you need - a real person should be able to tell you exactly the type of cover you need - much easier than an online form.
Don't buy straight away unless the price is great, and ask for the quote to be emailed to you, so you can read the terms and conditions and check you are covered for what you want to do (I expect some volunteering work may be more hazardous than other). That will show you what to look for when getting other quotes.

Which Travel Insurance Companies Insure You For Holidays That Involve More Than One Trip?

We are flying from Manchester to Las Vegas for 1 week and then flying from Las Vegas to New York for 1 week and then from New York to Manchester - does anyone know of a travel insurance company that I can get a quote from online that would cover this as one trip

Answer: If this is done concurrently, it is classed as one trip! Travel insurance companies go by dates first then countries. So your insurance will be from Manchester to US and return and the cover is normally for 30 days maximum. If it is more then a more specialised insurance is required.

Don't confuse this with multi-trip - that means many trips in one year. We always take this one out as we have more than two overseas holidays a year.

Moneysupermarket.com is the best place to look. There are normally three categories - Europe, Worldwide excluding USA and Worldwide including USA - you will obviously need the latter.

Who Wastes Time Like This?

I came home form work the last Thursday and Friday to a full answering machine with messages for a person named Julian Sweet (I don't know who that is and his name is nowhere near my name). "Julian" apparently was online early Thursday and made MANY online requests for various services - home based businesses, auto/home/health insurance, travel packages, etc. and left my phone number in the request. We're talking hundreds of requests. In the last three days I have had over 90 phone calls from different businesses seeking "Julian." Today I started receiving mail for "Julian". One of the items was for a new home owner's insurance policy quote - and based upon the

Answer: Have you fallen out with anyone close recently? Got any disgruntled exes? Or, if you've recently moved in, could the previous occupier be this Julian Sweet? Maybe he has fallen out or split up with someone and they're trying to get their revenge, not knowing that he's moved on.

It's probably just to cause you hassle, but I would do a credit check to ensure there wasn't anything fishy going on, and I'd also tell my bank and credit card companies. I'd also switch off my answering machine when I was out so they couldn't leave messages.
