What Is The Value Of The Current Chubb Insurance Pay Band?

im applying for a few jobs at chubb and have no idea what the pay band values are, i could be going in for a huge salary or a poppers. No idea so would like to see values if anyone can help. i live in nj.

Answer: If there aren't any on the CHUBB website, you'll just be going in blind - but I promise, Chubb DOES pay the "going rate". So you can type the job description into www.salary.com with your zip code, and find out the average.

What Does 90% Co-insurance Mean?

Our HOA is in the process of switching from CHUBB CUSTOM
to Loyds of London for our Malibu stock-coop building fire insurance. (CHUBB would not cover the pilings if they burned.)
Our policy is for 2.5 mil for replacement. Our agent said the
90% would actually 2.7 in the event of a claim.
is that so?
should we ask for total relplacement with an inflation clause?
We have never had a claimin 25 years .

Answer: 90% coinsurance means that you have to have the building insured for at least 90% of the cost to rebuild, at the time of loss, and if you DON'T, they only cover the percentage of the loss that you insured.

Send me an email if you want an example. The above answers are incorrect, they are indicating that you have a 10% deductible. NOT the same as coinsurance.

TYPICALLY, the policy will not pay out MORE than the policy limit, in case of a total loss - the co-insurance is a PENALTY that can be applied, NOT a built in additional coverage.

You ABSOLUTELY need to ask for GUARANTEED REPLACEMENT VALUE WITH AN INFLATION GUARD. You probably won't get

Vehicle Totaled - Do I Pay Sales Tax On New Car?

I recently totaled my Lexus LX470 (other driver at fault) and am waiting for insurance to check out the vehicle (not declared totaled yet, but very clear that it is). My car had an agreed upon value of $26,000 and I am going to soon buy a new car. When I purchase the new car, will I have to pay sales tax, title fees, etc? Is the sales tax that I have to pay assumed to be included in my $26000 settlement or will I have to later seek reimbursement for my title, tax, and licensing? I live in Pennsylvania, insurance is Chubb.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Answer: Of course you will pay sales tax on the new vehicle. The state charging sales tax has nothing to do with an insurance company.

You can ask your adjuster about tax/tag/title on the new vehicle. Depending on the laws of your state, they may give you something for that.

New York, NY - Chubb Insurance Suing City Over Lost $187000 Belt ...

Bardwil and someone in the police precinct were in cahoots to defraud Chubb - which is highly unlikely - you can be certain the buckle isn't hiding in Mr. Bardwil's safe deposit box. Bardwil, whose family owns Bardwil Home, pleaded guilty last November to misdemeanor assault and was sentenced to three years’ probation. Bardwil, 58, did not return a call, and a lawyer for Chubb declined comment. The insurer paid a $187,200 claim to Bardwil, but now wants the city to pay up for the bauble....
