Where Can I Find Cheap Auto Insurance After A DUI?

I have a bad driving record that includes a DUI and driving with a suspended. I am looking for some way of getting reasonable priced auto insurance in Florida. I went to Geico and they want to charge me around $700 a month! Also what is an SR-22?

if one has a DUI in nov. 2007 and court finalized in sept. 2009 ...which date affects auto insurance or your driving records?

Answer: It should apply from the date of the occurrence but laws may vary by state.

Was It Hard To Get Auto Insurance After A DUI?

I am getting my suspended license back this June, will I be able to be on my husbands policy with Esaurance? How much did you pay for minimum coverage after a DUI?

Answer: I paid about $385 for a 6 mo. policy. but after my second I wasn't able to get my license back at all. It was only suspended for a year but in Michigan it's a judgment call by the secretary of state weather you get it back or not. 4 years and 2 appeals will have passed by the time my next appeal comes around. Now I just drive without a license or insurance and with a stolen plate.

DUI - Auto Insurance?

My wife left me and got a DUI in another state...I don think she has filed for divorce yet. I dropped her car from my car insurance but I cannot take her name off until the divorce is final. Will this affect my premium? Willl my insurance go up beause of her error?

Answer: Get a separated policy from her asap.

ex. I got a dui almost 5 years ago, will an insurance company look at my record from the past 5 years or longer? How many years from your dui do they hold it against you?

Answer: It stays on there for a while.
