I Think Our House Insurance Is Expensive, Want To Change Using Comparison Site England What Is Important To?

if i use a comparison site to change our house insurance what is a good way to do this, the main reason being to try to cut down on our monthly out goings

i am a bit confused but would like to be covered for theft, fire,flooding and also for vandalism and if the roof falls off in the wind so would this be fully comprehensive we are up the top of a hill but seeing the devistation that the floods cause i thik it wise to get covered for this what do you think

what else is important

we bought the house for £120,000 three years ago and at the time i was ill so just took the insurance lloyds tsb sold to save stress, but feel a bit wiser now

Apparently you just click on the boxes to indicate what level of cover you require and it give you a quote.
 
 

House Insurance - Food Risk?

Can any one help am looking to get a quote for building and contents insurance, but using gocompaire, moneysupermarket ect says cannot insure due to flood risk! Yes the property was floded 10yrs ago due to Cherwell river bursting its banks but the likely hood of it ever happening again is slim!!!

One 1 company would insure us according to the comparison sites! Does anyone know of a company a can go to for a quote? that wont sent ma premium sky high due to flood risk or even just insurer me!!!

Answer: Contact the National Flood Forum http://www.floodforum.org.uk/ 01299 403055 they provide support and advice to communities and individuals that have been flooded or are at risk of flooding.

They should be able to advise on insurers or brokers who will insure homes in flood risk areas.

Personal Insurance To Pay Off House If One Of The Other Of Us Die, We Are In England?

i think our insurance is expensive

we bought the house three years ago for £120,000 but at the time i had a bit of mental illness so just took out the insurance that was offered at the time

i feel well enough to change now just to save money

i want it to cover loss of job due to illness
one of us dies
if one of us gets cancer, leukaemia or other chronic illness
i would like the house to be paid off, or personal injury

i am married

can i buy this sort of thing on a comparison web site

what is some good questions to ask

Answer: go www.moneysupermarket.com and look for life insure, decreasing inline with your mortgage payments. they will compare all deals. Ive just saved a fortune with mine by switching to norwich union.

Is There A Comparison Site That Does Not Ask For My Contact Details?

i am coming to the end of my first year in my first house, and i want to start looking around at prices for my home insurance to make sure i am not paying more than i need to be. but everytime i go on comparison sites they are wanting my contact details... i certainly dont want to provide these and i did this last year and have been inundated with companies calling me eversince!!

Do you know of any websites that will not request this information?

Answer: The other answer is correct = they lie to you (pretend they are not going to sell your details to cold callers and spam merchants), so why not lie to them ??

If there is any real reason to allow them to contact you, I suggest you set-up a new free public email address that you can simply forget about once they have sent you have the information you need ...

Car Insurance For Teen..any Solution?

hi,..
im 18 years old and going to buy my first car..
but got a problem on insurance...
here's my case or my question
I LIVE IN CANADA..( IF THAT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE?)

is it possible for my car's insurance to be put under my uncle's car and me as the second driver while my uncle already having another car??
parents( not in d country)

or is it possible to make it as family car, with my 2 uncles hving the first and second driver and me as third one/

we all live on the same house...

i know that there's a way i could get my own..but right now it cost 2 much

Answer: Yes, as long as you live at the same address, you can be added as a secondary driver on his car, and a primary driver on yours, and all be on the same policy thereby getting the multi-car discount.
