What Is The Best Source To Compare The Insurance Costs For All Model Of Cars And Trucks?

I am looking for a list that has the average insurance rates for different model of cars. I need makes and models listed all together in a single source, and don't have the time to compare just 3 or four models at a time, nor go on line and check out one at a time. I need something in a spreadhsheet, or that I can cut and paste into a spreadsheet.
Answer: Best thing you can do for yourself is find a good Insurance Agency in your area.
Agencies do just this for you. They are set up to get you the best rates, and are licensed to write with all the insurance companies. This is what an insurance agency does.
Then, you will have an agency you can turn to when you need advice, change your needs, etc... If you find the right agency, they will take good care of you.
Ask friends and family, maybe they know of a good agency. They are everywhere, just find a good one. An agency licensed to write with many, many companies, at least 10-15.

I am considering becoming an insurance agent, and I want to make an informed decision. Is insurance easier to sell than real estate? What can I expect?
Answer: It's easier to sell insurance than real estate - but only just barely. Commissions are a lot smaller, too, so you've got to sell MORE policies, than you do houses. 95% of people who try to sell insurance, wash out. They can't make enough to cover their licensing fees, after six months. Plus, the ones that do make it, it's HARD WORK. You'll put in 60 - 80 workweeks to drag home $50K the first few years. It gets easier after that.

Answer: I have lived for a number of years in two other countries that have single payer systems and since last year with Medicare here, which amounts to the same thing. In all cases it's a good idea if one can afford it to take out supplemental insurance. In all cases the system worked just fine for me and a great deal better than the insurance I had from a private insurer in the US before I became eligible for Medicare.
