Im Attending School For Medical Insurance Billing And Coding Can I Get A Job?

im attending everest institute for medical insurance billing & coding and i would like to know if i can get a job with that same field that im getting training for? i would like to get a job while im in school is it possible to get a job with medical coding?

Answer: I teach medical billing and coding and yes you can get a job in this field, although if you have no medical experience they sometimes hire you first for a front office position because you know the billing and coding stuff, which is important. If you have a good attitude you will move up and get more into the billing and coding.

I am not quite sure what your second question is. Yes you can get a medical job while you are in school. However, at least in the United States usually one needs experience in order to become a coder. A lot of them want you to take a test to get a certification before they will hire you to be a coder. The desired certification varies by employer but

My daughter is wanting to go to school she was thinking of Medical assisting. Now she is looking more into Medical Billing/Coding. And looking to go Everest College

Answer: Well, I went to Western and they promised me job placement and a high paying career.... Now I work in a totally different field, making WAYYYYY less than I deserve because they are pushing out those degrees by the thousands and its incredibly hard to get in somewhere.

Could I Join My High School Football Team Without Medical Insurance?

I want to join my high school football team, but i don't have medical insurance and i want to know if i really need it to join.

Answer: Why not? They will require you to have a physical, but I can't think of any reason they'd require you to maintain medical insurance.

My daughter will graduate from college this summer and thinks to take a year break before going to graduate school. She is currently under my insurance policy, which covers for child who is independent and under age 21 or a full time student under age 25. My daughter will be 22, so if she is not in school, she will not be covered. I am not sure she can easily find full time job that provides the insurance since she just wants to work for a short time. If not, what options does she have?Is there a short term insurance avaliable for the situation like this?

Do any of you know how much money you start off with an hour or year round..and if its a good course to go through?

Answer: They used to make about double minimum wage, but this is a type of work that probably will get off-shored.

This used to be a good steady job, because every insurance company in the world required different paperwork, but we are moving towards a world of standardization, and software products to handle the complexity.

I would say this is a good course to take, but it should not be the only one to take.
