Who Offers Insurance For Mobile Homes And Will Let You Manage Your Policy Online?

We need coverage and want to be able to pay our bill online. Can you name any companies that will cover mobile homes and allow online payments/management?

I know of Allstate, State Farm, Nationwide...Progressive doesn't.

Answer: Ah, Progressive was who I was going to say.

The big mobile home writers are Progressive, Foremost, and American Modern. And American Modern and Foremost won't let you manage policies online.

Sorry. You'll have to do it via mail or agent's office.
 
 

Who Sells Insurance For Mobile Homes

does anyone know what insurance company sell insurance to people who live in mobile homes. i'm trying to rent a few out and i want to make sure my tenants are covered just in case something bad happens like Katrina since they are so fraigle. Thanks for your help.

I Have A Question About Mobile Home Insurance?

I have mobile home insurance now with a company that the rate has increased 600.00 in 3 yrs. I was given a rate through american tradition insurance for less than 1/2 of what I am paying now for almost the same coverage. Has anyone heard of the insurance company

Answer: Are you in Florida? American Tradition is a brand new insurance company operating in Florida, and they are NOT a rated company by AM Best, at their own request. That's a major red flag.

When I went to their website, it looks like American Tradition is for standard homes, and Modern is for mobile homes. I'd guess, that there's a strong possibility that you got a quote for a regular home, not a mobile home, and that's why you're seeing the price difference.

I would use caution, when moving to a company like this. Based on their website, they're counting on Lloyds of London to backup their claims, AND, the state of Florida.

Older Model Mobile Homes Insurance?

My sister & husband are buying a 1975 Moblie Home in New York State and need Insurance on it, All the insurance companies they looked at said it is too old. My question is where can they get insurance for a older type moblie home ?

Answer: Check with an independent agent. They have access to many insurance companies and should be able to find something for them.

Check Foremost Insurance. They can write an older mobile home for the value of the mobilehome excluding the land. They do write in NY. You will be able to find an agent on their website

Can I Get Insurance In Ms. On A 1990 Mobile Home?

We had financial problems for several years and couldn't pay our mobile home insurance. Now that we are back on our feet we were told that if our mobile home was over 9 years old, and if we let our policy lapse no one would cover it.

Answer: homeinsurance.awardspace.us - try this one. Got my home insurance from them. As I know they provide such a service.
