Answer: Yes it is. I here it's one of the cheapest too. I've also heard Health-Net is rather good and unexpensive especially if you don't have any pre-existing conditions. Cigna offers pretty good rates as well. You can also look into Eatna.

I have sleep apnea which is well controlled through the use of a CPAP machine, but I was turned down for health insurance by Blue Cross Blue Shield because of it. I recently left a job through which I had health insurance and am now self employed and need to find an individual policy for myself.

I'm about to leave my job and go to school fulltime and considering individual monthly health plans like Anthem by Blue Cross, etc. I have a pre-existing problem where I get congested ears and I am on the prescription nasal/spray allergy medication Flonase. Will this affect me trying to get individual insurance?
