What's the best medical insurance or medicare for a single person? Because I don't seen nothing out there for me. See I try to get some kind of medical insurance, they say I make to much money and if I wasn't single that it would of been easy for me. I just don't know, can any one help.

I think a great % of families have no medical insurance. They can get Medicare (Medical) now, so someone please help me tonight?

Answer: Using the numbers bandied about by both parties there are roughly 45,000,000 individuals in this country with no medical insurance, oh which 10-15 million are thought ot be illegal aliens. Thus, 30-35 million are uninsured American citizens. Since the population is somewhere around 300,000,000 that would be 10-15% without insurance.

Other than that, Medicare is not changing from its current form. It is still the insurance for the elderly. The medicaid (state run insurance for the poor) is being increased slightly.

If One Dosen't Get Response From Medicare, And Medical Insurance Co. Where Can One Go?

for 4 months my wife had been tryuing to dissenrole from a medical provider and return to medicare for insurance. No that she finally has her chosen provider neither one wants to pay for the bills acumulated during the last quarter. It would seem that their would be an office to go to for mediation on this issue. If so who?

Answer: You do not provide enough information to help you much and this can get very complicated.

You need to start with the insurance company and find out exactly why the charges are not being covered. There could be a number of reasons and some of those reasons would depend upon what coverage she currently has. All companies have an appeals process that she needs to go through if you think that she should be covered for her procedures. Also, depending on the coverage she has Medicare may or may not pay anything. For example, if she has a Medicare Advantage plan Medicare never pays for any procedures; the company does IF it is a Medicare approved procedure and IF the doctor is in network.

Can I Have Medicare And Medical Insurance Through My Employer?

Am I allowed to have both?

Answer: Yes, you are allowed to have both. You will get Part A when you turn 65. If you are working and have a group policy with more than 20 lives you do not need to get Part B until after you retire because the group is primary and Medicare is secondary. You then have 8 months after you retire to get Part B. If the group policy has 20 or fewer lives then you need to get Part B when you turn 65 because Medicare is primary and the group is secondary. If you do not get Part B when first eligible there will be a penalty later when you do sign up.

If A Patient Passes Away At The Hospital, Would Their Medicare Insurance Pay For The Medical Bills?

There is no Life Insurance, nor any other means to cover bills.

What has been your experience with Medicare with taking care of hospital/medical bills?

Answer: Medicare doesn't usually pay 100%. It pays based on which coverage they have - the estate has to pay for the rest. If the estate has nothing, then the hospital eats the bills.
