Taking mother aged 80 to U.S.A. in June.Any one know of reasonable priced insurance company for her? Prices seem horrendous. Thanks.

Our Familly's Holiday Was Delayed Which Cost Us Over £3000, HELP!!!!!?

living on the isle of man meant that we needed to get to our airport to catch to catch the plane going to england and then get that plane to the US, however due to fog the IOM plane was cancelled meaning that we missed the US flight and the fore had to book a whole new holiday, in short this cost us over £3000 more than it should have done , however because the flight was not delayed over 24 hours (it was 20) all we got from our travel insurance was £80, there seems to be no solution, is there anything we can do?!
(i have missed alot of detail so if you need anymore please ask!!!) and just for the record im not blaming anyone, i know its not the airports fault!

Answer: If both flights were with the same company you possibly would have some recourse, but if it was with two different airlines, sadly you don't.

That is a lot of money to have to pay out, but the airlines are not responsible for weather conditions.

I don't believe you will be able to get any money back.

Tips To Fight Speeding Ticket?

I have a court date in a week to appeal a speeding ticket i received about 3 months ago. So far for my defense I have, accelerated while passing therefore travelling over the speed limit, I am currently in college taking police foundations, I work for the ministry of corrections with the prov gov't, first time offence, young driver(will significantly impact my insurance rates), perfect driving record, pay for own car and own insurance. Any others???

I was doing 107 in an 80. 27 km over posted limit. (about 16 miles)
i was going to fight it on my own. think its worth getting a lawyer?

Answer: No tips ... but let me reply to your defensive strategy (I'm not a judge, prosecutor or officer)

Accelerated while passing therefore traveling over the speed limit - The speed limit still applies when overtaking another vehicle, as you should know if you are taking police foundations in college.

Taking police foundations in college - then surely you know better than to commit violations of the traffic code, and should have a better understanding of the code than most other drivers.

Work for the Ministry of Corrections - Leading me to believe that you, of all people, should have a better understanding of the law than most citizens.
