Reccomendations For Medical Travel Insurance For Non US Resident Traveling To The UK?

I'm living in Pennsylvania for a year, but I'm originally from Argentina. I'm traveling to the UK in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to get medical travel insurance. I'm at a total loss because I don't know the insurance companies and I'm not sure what the best option would be. From your experience, could you recommend one or two for me? Thanx!

Answer: Your best bet is to visit a travel insurance comparison web site and look for either "package" travel insurance plans or "travel medical" plans. Most travel insurance comparison web sites qualify travel insurance companies before listing them on their sites.

Both "package" and "travel medical" plans contain medical coverage and medical evacuation. The "package" policies also contain other coverages such as travel delay and broad baggage coverage and trip cancellation coverage can also be added. Also the package policies base eligibility on where you reside rather than your citizenship.

Travel Insurance Question. Non UK Resident..?

A friend is over here from the USA for 2 weeks. In the 2 weeks we will be going to Amsterdam from London for a day and the package deal has told me he MUST have travel insurance for that single trip.

Are there any UK agents that will offer a US resident travel insurance? If not, would be be able to contact a US travel insurance company now that he is in the UK to get that insurance for that single trip?

hi,
Im originally from Zambia but currently in the uk on a work permit. I am planning on goin to spain next month, where can i get my travel insurance from? Most places i have looked at are for UK residents only!

Answer: i think you will be able to get UK one as you reside in the UK. however, it is best to check with company that provides insurance if not it will need to be Zambian insurance company.

Who Provides The Best Travel Insurance For Non-package Holidays? (UK)?

I have booked my flight and accommodation separately and I am now looking for some travel insurance that will cover both flight and accommodation.
I am aware of certain companies that offer 'End User Failure' which covers you again against either the airline or hotel going but does it cover you for things such as if you had an accident in your accommodation?

What Travel Insurance would I need that is equivalent to the level that is offered by holiday companies for package holidays?

Answer: You are wanting cover that has financial failure in the policy I have access to a few policies that will suit your needs.
Sorry to say that online quotes are very confusing and to actually find out the cover you need to speak to a real person if they can't answer your question don't buy it. Typically banks credit card companies that give you free cover exclude it and there excesses are higher as well.
