I'm writing for a high school newspaper. The topic is the extra health insurance charge that obese people have to pay for the North Carolina State Health Plan. What kind of picture can I use to go along with this article? Please don't say "a fat person."
| Answer: I would try to find a tasteful picture of someone trying to help themselves, maybe working out, but a little bit overweight? A lot of overweight people have found that their problem is caused by other things, such as chronic back pain, which are causing them to overeat. I went to see a chiropractor which was a pleasant surprise, in that it relieved my back pain, which was so frustrating that it was causing me to overeat. Odd connection, but true. |
