How Do I Get Liability Insurance For Soccer Group?

Ive been applying for park permits all around the tri - state area(NYC) but some reason I need liability Insurance. Now I need to know where I can get Liability Insurance for 30 people. That way when i start my meet-up group if anyone gets hurt I wont be held responsible.

Answer: Well,I live in England but we have to sign forms at the start of the season.So,you could on the forms just put down who your doctor is in case .And all your details etc.

The mystifying part is the GROUP aspect....

Answer: It is insurance that physicians have in case they are sued and end up owing money. With so many lawsuits these days, virtually all physicians and doctors take out insurance.

Liability insurance means insurance for something that was your fault, so this would be insurance for the doctors if the doctors were at fault. Just like auto insurance for if you are involved in an accident that was your fault, then you are liable, and your liability insurance would kick in.

I think group just means the insurance covers a group of doctors. Probably a way of keeping costs down. Employers do this with insurance. If you get life or disability insurance

Does my ametuer film group need any kind of public liability insurance or other to film on our own private property well away from the public?

Answer: You'd be daft not to have insurance cover anyway. The suing behaviour across the pond is more common here now - witness all those no win, no fee adverts on telly. You only need a groupie to trip over a carelessly laid cable and ...

The amateur performing group I'm with gets cover from our national organisation for about £50 a year. I checked the links on my local film group's site and found the IAC [1] - £55.50 per year - sounds like the same bargain my group gets. You'll probably need membership too.

Do I Need Public Liability Insurance If I Organise A Group Swim?

I am organising group swimming for a bunch of local mums and their baby at the local private pool. The pool is available to hire on an hourly basis and wont charge teh mums individually. I have agreed to hire the pool for 1 hr and then spliting the cost with the mums when they turn up. Can any one advise if i need public liability insurance for this??? I presume as 1) i am not conducting lessons 2) mums are looking after their own babies 3) im only profiting a small amout when we round up the payments depending on the attendance 4) the pool should have the insurance if anyone slips or whatever....
Can some one help as i have no clue if i do or dont need it and if i do how much it

Answer: The pool owner probably has sufficient insurance to cover any incidents which is covered by your letting fee. Ask them.

if you are a daycrae owner, what do you normally pay for this insurance? in my state im required to have $300.000 liability and $5.000 medical. what is the average i will be paying??

Answer: It is hard to say how much you would be paying on average. But whatever it costs, it is important for you to get both of these two types of insurance.
