Where Can A Beginning Life Insurance Agent Find Good Leads? |
The small agency I work with buys expensive leads but they are not good. I am almost ready to give up as an agent because the leads are also few and far between. I need some steady prospects but don't really want to give up this agency! What should I do? I have suggested leadsclearance and leadsauction but he insists on using the lead sources he has. They don't cost ME except in gas and time when they don't yeild results.
| Answer: Ask your agency manager if he has any "orphan" policyholders that you can call to arrange an insurance review. An "orphan" policyholder is one who doesn't have a current agent assigned to that account, or an account which hasn't been serviced for quite awhile. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ask for referred leads, whether you write business on your current interview or not. You best business will come from referred leads. Don't give up. Ask your manager to help you. He/she makes an override on your sales. The more business you place, the more commissions you AND your manager make. He or she is not there to let you fail. If |
