Does anyone know where I can find out info on Wentworth branded mantle clocks. I have been given one for Xmas and need to add it to my contents insurance and need to know a value.

Can I Get A Loan Instead Of Cashing Out My Settlement Early Through JG Wentworth?

I have $50,000.00 sitting in a trust fund at an insurance company. Now my brother has the same and he went through JG Wentworth to get his out early and lost $20,000.00 on the deal. Now are there places that will loan me a small amount (like $5,000-$10,000) that way i dont have to cash out my whole value and lose a large amount. Now i know that they (JGW) can buy a portion of it but i will still lose a lot i just want a small loan that wont make me lose too much money. This is what they offered me: $31,000.00 for my whole contract or $16,000.00 and then $15,000.00 in 2012 when i am supposed to receive it. NOW I DONT WANT TO HEAR JUST WAIT FOR THE MONEY BECAUSE IT AINT WORTH IT BECAUSE I NEED

J.G. Wentworth only buy's settlements from insurance companies. It's not exactly a settlement, its a judgement, and the reason we're having such a hard time selling it is because it's from an individual party. When it's a judgement, yes they are ordered to pay but no one really cares if they do or not, not even the court. The only person that cares is the person awarded the judement. I know there has got to be places that buy these type of settlement, just finding one is the key.
Answer: Noone will because the person paying it can BK on it.

I have received a full-tuition scholarship from wentworth institute of tecnology. I only have to pay $2400 each year for Health insurance and fees(also I have to live at home). On another hand I have received $12,200 scholarship from Umass Amherst which is a internationally reputed University. But I have to pay $ 6, 500 out of pocket and an additional $3,500 subsidized Stafford loan each year(I'll live off campus).
Wentworth is limited, and academically it's well well below Umass Amherst. Which one should I pick? HELP PLEASE.......................
Answer: Amherst.
1. You don't want to short-change yourself when it comes to your education. The pride you'll carry with you for going to Amherst will last a lifetime.
2. They will have other Financial Aid options (my favorite was work study); other students get by with no scholarship at all. A few years from now you'll consider these amounts trivial.
3. You don't really want to live with your parents during college, do you? Think of your social life.

Answer: I have never heard of Wentworth Institute of Technology, but I have heard of University of Massachusetts Amherst. $10,000 seems like a lot, but you should be able to afford going there because you got a $12,200 scholarship to help with your coast. If the education is better at University of Massachusetts Amherst and they offer the major you want to study then I would go there.
Extra Point: Try and take a campus visit (if you haven't already) to get a better feel about the colleges atmosphere, apartments, food service, buildings, layout and the overall feel of the campus.
