I signed up with Mutual of Omaha and have not yet received my insurance card.

Answer: For something that simple, I would just call Mutual of Omaha and notify them that you didn't get your card. They'll verify the address they have on file for you and send you another one. They could probably even email or fax you a card (sometimes this is prohibited).

But to answer your question, yes. The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance oversees all companies and individuals licensed to sell insurance in New Jersey.

Should I be ranking for "Insurance South NJ" vs. "Insurance New Jersey"?

Example DMOZ description:

"Independent insurance agency serving South NJ with a selection of personal and commercial insurance products. Allows online policy change requests."

Answer: Don't let your DMOZ listing determine what keywords you target. Instead, consider the amount of search traffic each keyword might bring.

In your example, Overture's keyword suggestion tool shows the following search volume (in the last 30 days) for the keywords you listed (and some alternatives):

Insurance South NJ - zero searches
New Jersey Insurance - 938 searches
new jersey manufacturer insurance - 742 searches
new jersey health insurance - 722 searches
new jersey car insurance - 5499 searches

As you can see, it would be a waste of time to focus on "Insurance South NJ" since it's getting little or no search

Any Child Modeling Agencies In New Jersey?

A lot of people say I look like a child model even when I took professional photos the photographer said that I look like a model. Like child models make a portion of 200$ a day? I could really use the money for saving for college and to recover for health insurance since I recently lost. And I really need braces bad!

Answer: Of course the photographer is going to say what he thinks you want to hear, so I wouldn't take that TOO seriously.

Your best bet is to check out the NYC modeling agencies, as someone else said. Their websites tell you where you can send pictures, info, etc.

Can I Claim NY Unemployment Insurance While Working As A Temp In NJ?

I live in New Jersey but worked in New York. I have been receiving unemployment insurance through NY Labor Dept, which I file online.
I recently received a 'full-time' job with a temp agency (in New Jersey) for an undetermined period of time. On the online weekly certification questions, I answered Yes - I had a full-time job and No - the weekly amount is not more than the weekly benefit of 400.00.

Questions:
I thought that I was supposed to get the weekly benefit minus what is being earned. Am I wrong?
Will I be able to be claim the balance of my NY benefits if I am released from the temporary assignment or will I have to file a claim in New Jersey?

Answer: You have a new full-time job, and are not entitled to unemployment benes as of the first day of work.

If you are terminated, then you file a new claim in NJ. NJ will do an interstate claim against any credits you might have remaining in NY. Let NJ & NY work it out.

Hi, I live in Central New Jersey. I am trying to find some resources for a friend who is currently suicidal. She does not have insurance. Are there state agencies or local agencies that can help her?? She does not have much money. She is not a student. How can I help my friend before I lose her? She needs COUNSELING and THERAPY ASAP. Please point me to some resources, I need to get help today. Thank you.
