What Does Single Trip Mean On Holiday Insurance?

Does it mean one way? Or one holiday?

Never done this before and want to get my facts straight!

Answer: It basically covers you for one holiday period, and maybe limited in total days, and are often more restrictive than the annual policies available, but if this is going to be your only trip away in the next 12 months? Then it's probably the best option.
 
 

Does Single Trip Insurance Cover Local Travel?

Eg. If I buy single trip insurance for a trip from the London, UK to Melbourne, Australia, does the policy cover me for additional local flights within australia during the course of the holiday? Like a fllight to sydney and back to melbourne? Or is the missed/delayed departure policy usually for the flight entering australia and the flight leaving australia only.

Which Insurance To Get When Going On Holiday For The Weekend?

i am traveling to spain for the weekend and wanted to get insuarance please help which insuarance is best for me single trip insuarance ,annual,multi or back packer im just going for the weekend just need to know what these insuarances are thank you

Answer: For a weekend trip you only need single trip insurance. Annual is multi is good if you plan to travel a lot in the next year but if it's just the weekend then get single. You're not backpacking so you don't need backpackers insurance. Personally I favour the post office for good travel insurance. You can buy it online or go in & buy it over the counter.

Travel Insurance-2 Male Friends, Do I Have To Get 2 Single Policies?

Here's the situation-2 guy mates who aren't romantically involved (thought i'd try and inject some humour) are going on holiday together next year. With regards to travel insurance would it be better to take out a couple policy to cover us both or is that not allowed seems were not actually a couple, meaning we have to get individual policies each.
done some more online browsing and it seems getting a policy to cover 2 adults instead is probably the best idea, but i thought i'd pose the question anyway

Answer: You are correct. Getting a policy for 2 adults is cheaper. Insurance companies do not care what your relationship is.
