Hi everyone.
I have 3 or 4 years experience in insurance, mainly in casualty.
I'm making the transition over to property as a field adjuster.
I was curious what carriers typically hire a property adjuster with 3 or 4 years of somewhat related experience at salary-wise? Thanks.
Answer: In Georgia, it's around $35,000 - $40,000 for someone with 3 - 4 years experience, but I don't know about other areas.

I'm Think Of Getting My License To Become An Insurance Adjuster, But I Need Advice!?

I have been looking into getting a license to become an insurance adjuster in Texas, and I have found a few websites offering different certifications but I am still pretty clueless. haha. I don't know anyone who is in this line of work so I was just looking for some helpful advice on which certification would be the best in regards to the best salary, etc... Are there any insurance adjusters out there who can lead me in the right direction?? Thank you!
Answer: I am in dallas TX and got my all lines adjuster license back in March. I went through http://theadjusterschool.com/ and went to the class in Irving.
It wasnt too difficult ... considering you have some background in insurance. I want to say total cost for the class, fees to the state.. and everything it was about $600.
I just got mine to add a nice line to my resume. I work in health insurance but figured it couldnt hurt!
