Should I Still Create A Liability Insurance Form Even If I Do Not Have The Insurance?

Am going to start babsitting at home again and was wondering if it is necessary to create a liability form for parents to sign even if I do not have liability insurance?
To MC: That is true, that is lying. I just thought that it is required. didn't think of it like that though. I will have a regular contract and Medical form though. Thanks for answering.
To Dream: So a licensed person is to be insured. I am not not licensed but informal, btu I guess if you're informal you could/should have insurance as well. I am just starting out so maybe after I've earned enough income once I work my way up I could look into getting insured and just pray the children remain unharmed under my care.

Answer: I believe to be licensed you have to be insured, so if you are not licensed and insured I would not have parents sign a waiver because that makes it look like you are. And, if a child gets hurt and that comes into question, it could be made that you defrauded them by making it look like you had it.

Commercial Event General Liability Insurance?

I'm planning a simple fund raiser for a non-profit at a public park. Games, booths, music, and food vendors will be the even in a very small section of the park. We are applying for a permit and it says that we need commercial event general liability insurance. We really highly doubt that anything to bad could happen I mean maybe a booth could fall over onto a little kid or something but, nothing worse.

We were just wondering what the cheapest form of this insurance we could get for a one time event. We mean cheap remember it is a fund raiser for small non-profit youth group!

Answer: yes you can get it for a one time event and yes you do need it! call a local independent agent and they can help you with what you need.

What Is Most Appropriate Form Of Insurance To Create A Fund To Meet A Future Iht Liability On An Estate?

Answer: That is interesting. I'm not aware of any sort of insurance specifically for this but I imagine a good life insurance policy would be the best. Just remember the beneficiary of the policy cannot be the insured (ie: the deceased / estate owner) or the policy payout will also be subject to IHT. The beneficiary of the policy should really be the residual beneficiary of the estate (ie: the one who'll pay the IHT).

That probably beats having some excess cash in bonds/shares etc to meet the IHT liability as this excess cahs would be taxed itself.
