Don't rich Hollywood people really care to redistribute their money even though they voted for 0bama and praised him?
Answer: Not all did. Besides, the money they have would not go far in the treatment of the uninsured and the uninsurable.

Wouldn't It Be Cheaper To Just Buy The Uninsured Health Insurance From The Private Sector?
Question by dickery | Posted in Insurance
The price tag for the current health care proposal is $900 billion over 10 years. That works out to an average of 90 billion a year. The main objective of the proposal (presumably) is to provide coverage for the 45 million Americans who currently do not have health insurance.
So... a quick look at the math:
90,000,000,000 / 45,000,000 = 2,000
That comes out to just over $166 per month per uninsured individual.
By comparison, I pay around $200 per month through my group medical insurance at work for my family of four and that includes a prescription drug plan.
Wouldn't it be cheaper and more efficient to just purchase private insurance
Answer: I priced individual health insurance (medical only; no dental) locally about 1 year ago. The premium charged for family coverage (a couple and 1+ children) was over $3,400...
That is $3,400 PER MONTH! Sorry to shout. But, that pricing is outrageous. The health insurance carrier is a well regarded one used by corporate group plans. The pricing within the plan is excellent. But, the premiums make you wonder if you’d be better off self insuring with some sort of catastrophe coverage.
For those who have lost their health insurance in unemployment, there is COBRA, which costs the former employee more than (s)he paid while an employee. But, if and when the person falls off

I am Currently Uninsured and looking for Health insurance with Maternity Benifits, How long after i get Health insurance do I have to wait before i get pregnant?
Answer: Most places won't cover a delivery until 10 months after starting coverage.
I got lucky because I fell into a loophole (I had catastrophic coverage while in college and that still counts as having health insurance). Get coverage before you try to get pregnant, if you get pregnant first then no one will insure you.
What's Rush Limbaugh's Plan For Providing Health Insurance For 46 Million Uninsured Americans?
Question by longhaired freaky person | Posted in Politics
Since he's an intelligent man, I'm sure he realizes that the present health care cost trajectory is unsustainable. But I wonder if he's more concerned about collusion among the private insurance companies, or excessive prices for new pharmaceuticals.
Answer: First, your number is exaggerated. Second, it is no one's job to provide insurance for you but you. Third, there are things that could help without making the govt in charge of one more part of our lives. Tort reform, allow insurance to be sold across state lines, allow pools of self insured, allow tax breaks to those who purchase their own coverage, allow a variety of policies including those with high deductibles to cover injury and catastrophic illness, help the poor pay some of their premiums but make them responsible. It is funny to me to hear people talk about how they cannot spend 400 dollars a month to insure their families but they can spend that money on cigarrettes, alcohol, Big

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, noted in a report that the Census numbers show a “familiar pattern” whereby most “confirm a familiar pattern” whereby most uninsured people are “disproportionately young, healthy people. The number of people in the U. S. possessing health insurance fell by 1. As a result, the health insurance market remains “notoriously unstable,” according to the foundation. “They work in small firms, often as part-timers, or in industries that don’t typically offer health insurance....
